Since 1997 the Mexican
apparel and footwear markets have been the focus of separate
Trendex syndicated continuous consumer purchase tracking. The programs are called Mexican
Apparel Monitor and Footwear Market Index - Mexico.
Companies interested in the information for
either program can either purchase a one time report which
would be customized to a company's own
informational needs or become a subscriber and receive a
series of continuous market updates throughout a year.

Methodology
Both programs' information is
based on personal interviews conducted quarterly by
Marketing
Group (Mexico City) in the following fifteen markets with 3,000 Mexican men
and women (ages 16 and over).

The interview data has been
statistically adjusted each quarter so as to be
representative of the individual age and sex distribution of
the population within social classes in each of the fifteen
markets.
